The Baccarat Hotel is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Bar Manager to oversee the operations of The Bar, the iconic bar in New York City. This position ensures the highest standards of food and beverage and luxury are maintained throughout the hotel. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4 years of previous experience in luxury 5-star hospitality.
Continually monitor all daily sales, ordering, par levels and costs for outlets. Create, monitor and implement action plans to maximize revenue. Control labor expenses based on business levels. Maintain accurate paperwork for inventory levels, scheduling, payroll and employee records. Maintain par levels for each beverage outlet. Develop and implement training itineraries and programs. |
Have working knowledge of P.O.S. (Infogenesis) system and bar systems
Mixologist preferred
Hability to create seasonal cocktail menu programs and activations
Maintain and develop strong professional relationships with vendors and industry specialists
Create sesonal events or specials to promote The Bar
Expertise in handling challenging guests
Union knowledge (Local 6) required
Level II or above knowledge of wine and spirits
Ability to create and manage an extensive list of wine
