We’re currently in search of an independent thinking, quick-thinking, outgoing and productive Purchasing Manager to join our team at 1 Hotel South Beach. The person in this role will manage receiving for our complex for the pre opening phase and then to a functioning Hotel.

• Oversee the management of inventory levels across all properties to ensure optimal stock availability without overstocking.

• Implement effective inventory control systems to track and manage stock movement at each location.
• Coordinate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement activities accordingly.

About you...

Passionate about leading a team who works cross-functionally

Basic knowledgeable of purchasing and receiving, a team player, hard worker, and detail oriented.

Is flexible and willing to meet the demands of a 24-hour operation

• Experience with Birchstreet.

• 5 years Resort/Restaurant experience.

• Experience with computers, calculators or word processors.
• Experience in Hospitality Industry in similar position.

•  Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.

•  Reach 12 inches.

•  Remain in stationary position for 30 minutes throughout work shift.

•  Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.
